Personality
Thelwen is a cold, calculated and manipulative man.
He's not afraid to kill, just to get closer to his own Goals.
He's often sarcastic, especially towards those that are under him.
It is hard to earn his trust, and easy to lose it.However, he still wants things to be done as they should be.
If a Criminal was caught, then he will see that they receive a fair trial.
Once someone fully earned his trust, he will be loyal towards them and even put himself in harms way.
Thelwen was born into a rather poor family, living in a village close to Neverwinter.
His family barely got enough coin to live, so Thelwen foraged in the forests and stole whatever he could get, be it coin or food.
One day, while searching for berries in the forest, he found a injured Wolf.
Not showing any fear, he took care of its wound.
Over the next weeks he formed a bond with it. His only friend and Companion over the next years
Several Years pass and the Village was no more.
A famine has killed most of the population, Thels Family included.
With a heavy heart he moved to Neverwinter.
There he quickly became friends with a group of Orphans, who banded together to survive.
The leader was a young Woodelf called Nymia. She would become his best friend and, later, Lover.
Life was finally treating him well.
They traveled to Baldurs Gate to start a new life there.
Due to his Skills he became a Spy for one of the Lords who wwas quite ambitious.
What started as gathering Intel, would soon become more intense and bloody.
Over the next years he was ordered to kill alot of political enemies, criminals.
Intimidation became a daily thing.
And after all that he could barley see the line between right and wrong.
Nymia, his now Fiancé, tried to get him out of it, but to no avail.
He needed the Coin for their future and he even enjoyed it all. . . a mistake he will never forget.
His dearest was killed right in front of his eyes and Thel swore to take revenge.
He tracked down those that wronged him, killing every last one of them.
But even after all that, he still felt Guilty for Nymia's death
From there he started to work as a Mercenary and kept up with his job as an assassin.
At one point he found himself in the presence of a Bhaalspawn and their Companions.
He befriended the Half-Elf Jaheira and the Drow Viconia DeVir, not knowing that both of them would have a more important role later in his life. After Baldur's Gate was saved, he traveled the World once more
At least till he found a better cause.
People gathered to fight against a Man called Ketheric Thorm. A Shar Worshipper who build an army in the depths of the Underdark.
Thelwen joined a Group of Harpers, lead by his old friend Jaheira, that aliied with some Druids to fight Ketheric.
There he met the Druid Halsin.
He respected him, even if they didn't get along that well.
Afterwards he had a brief relationship with Jaheira, which ended on somewhat good terms.
As the years passed, he went back to the City, assuming the Role of a Bodyguard as well as Assassin once more. Still feeling Guilty for Nymia's death, he was approached by Viconia, the now Mother Superior of the Sharrans. She offered him a way to feel complete once again and he became a Worshipper of Shar. He continued his work as a Spymaster, now serving the Sharrans and manipulating the Nobles and Politicians of Baldur's Gate until he was captured by a Nautiloid. . .
